NCAA Tournament Odds Power Rankings: Alabama, Houston, and UCLA Lead the Way

The NCAA Tournament is now underway, and there are plenty of potential threats to cut down the nets on April 3 from NRG Stadium in Houston.

Below, we’ll dive into the top ten favorites to win the Men’s NCAA Tournament on the FanDuel Sportsbook.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide (+500)

The top-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide kicked off their opening-round matchup in the NCAA Tournament with a convincing 96-75 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Top 2023 NBA draft prospect Brandon Miller was held scoreless.

2. Houston Cougars (+750)

It wasn’t as easy for the Houston Cougars in their first tournament game as for Alabama, but they still managed to advance over the Northern Kentucky Norse via a 63-52 win.

There was never a moment in their opening-round matchup against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs where the UCLA Bruins looked threatened. They ultimately cruised to an 86-53 victory.

4. Texas Longhorns (+1200)

The Texas Longhorns had no issues with their first-round opponent, the Colgate Raiders, defeating them by 20 points. The Longhorns own +1200 odds to take the NCAA Tournament.

5. (Tie) Kansas Jayhawks (+1300)

Perennial powerhouse Kansas pulled away in the second half of their matchup with the Howard Bison, ultimately throttling them 96-68. The Jayhawks sit in a three-way tie for the fifth-shortest odds at +1300.

5. (Tie) Gonzaga Bulldogs (+1300)

The Gonzaga Bulldogs will kick off their NCAA Tournament later this evening when they take on the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Gonzaga is listed as 15.5-point favorites and boasts +1300 odds to win the tournament.

5. (Tie) Purdue Boilermakers (+1300)

After capturing the Big Ten Tournament, the East Region’s number one seed Purdue Boilermakers open their NCAA Tournament action later tonight against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.

8. (Tie) Connecticut Huskies (+1700)

Later this afternoon, the Connecticut Huskies will take on Iona. Even though they’re the four seed in the West Region, UConn sits in a tie with Duke and owns the eighth-shortest odds at +1700.

One of the notorious blue bloods, the Duke Blue Devils kicked off their tournament with a big bang, dropping Oral Roberts 74-51, a team many felt were poised to pull off the upset.

10. (Tie) Marquette Golden Eagles (+2000)

Entering the tournament as a number two seed in the East Region, the Marquette Golden Eagles are among the top-ranked teams to cut down the nets at +2000.

10. (Tie) Creighton Blue Jays (+2000)

It’s not often you see a six seed with top ten odds to win the National Championship, but that’s exactly the case for the Creighton Blue Jays, at +2000.

10. (Tie) Baylor Bears (+2000)

Finishing off the three-way tie for the tenth-shortest odds to capture the NCAA Tournament are the Baylor Bears, the third seed in the South and sitting at +2000.
