The Chicago White Sox defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 7-5, thanks to Tim Anderson’s RBI single in extra innings. Anderson also hit a dinger in the ninth to help the White Sox take the victory.
The Boston Red Sox defeated the Texas Rangers, 6-0, with help from Xander Bogaerts’ solo homer in the fifth inning. Boston had 10 hits in the victory.
The Detroit Tigers scored three runs in the top of the 10th inning and defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-1. Harold Castro, Jonathan Schoop and Jeimer Candelario each drove in a run for Detroit. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. homered for Toronto.
The Cleveland Indians defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 9-1, with help from Franmil Reyes’ three-run homer in the first inning. Jose Ramirez launched his 28th homer of the season in the eighth inning.
The New York Yankees defeated the Minnesota Twins, 10-2. Aaron Judge, Luke Voit and DJ LeMahieu all homered in tonight’s game to help the Yankees keep streak alive.
Joey Votto hit his 28th home run of the season to help the Cincinnati Reds defeat the Miami Marlins, 5-3. Tyler Naquin also went yard for Cincinnati. The Reds continue their push for the NL’s second wild card spot.
Salvador Perez hit two home runs to give him 32 on the season as the Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago Cubs, 6-2.
